Why is shipping so expensive?

Delivery by plane is calculated based on actual or volume weight. If the box is large and light, then it is considered volumetric. If the box exceeds the volume weight, it will be counted according to the actual weight. For example, the front tire wheel has a size of 65x65x15cm-6kg. The volume weight will be 65x65x15/6000 = 10.5kg of volume kilograms. If a 65x65x15cm box weighs 12kg, the shipping company will calculate it as 12kg. The cost per kilogram varies from 8 to 12 dollars per 1 kilogram. Also, the cost of delivery may vary depending on the global situation and oil prices.

I don't want to pay for the customs duties. What should I do?

World trade is organised in such a way that any cargo is subject to duty and tax upon importation into the country. Sellers usually have delivery channels for DDU(with duties paid, to the customer's door) and DDP (the customer must pay the duties themselves). Stores always try to provide DDP delivery so that the customer is more comfortable receiving their order. However, DDP delivery is not always available in any country. 

How do I find out how much I have to pay to customs?

Duties change frequently, and it is better to ask Google or the GPT chat about the current tariffs of your country's customs (for bicycle or electric bike spare parts) before placing an order.

Why haven't I received the track number yet and why isn't it showing anything?

DDP delivery does not work like regular domestic delivery. There can be several track numbers. The first one is before the destination country, and the second one is inside the country after passing through customs. 

What should I do if the product is delayed?

Customs procedures have unpredictable processing times. It may take from a few days to a month. Depending on the situation in the world, seasonality (for example, in February, Chinese customs is overloaded due to the celebration of the Chinese New Year), natural disasters, and others. 

What should I do if I haven't received my order or the order arrived damaged?

If the order is not delivered, the seller will refund the money for the order in full. Depending on the degree of damage, the situation is discussed with the seller individually and both partial and full refunds are possible.
